Thank you, JJ. #3 is of a site I walk by at least once a week, but only recently observed it as a rather striking example of "jarring". Also, with some cropping, a good "rule of thirds" shot :-)
Mr. C., I tried Picturenaut but Luminance HDR seemed to work better, i.e. look like HDR :-) I need to get a few more bracketed shots to give either of them a preference.
I've tried HDR Pro and the one all the pro's use Photomatix and can't say much for either one. I can pretty much achieve the same thing in Photoshop. They do allow for more flexible HDR toning than Photoshop but Photoshop is heads and shoulders better at combining images.
