Twenty city blocks were closed for this

Actually, eight blocks of the main street, and one block each way on six cross streets. I wasn't interested in the commercial parts of the event--a very big sidewalk sale called the Princess Street Promenade.

I love the burst balloons. It could be very sad, but it also looks like a big fun time happened, too!

No sadness there, Intell, or at least none that I saw. The balloons were burst for a good cause, no doubt.
